Avocado & Egg Bagel

The Avocado & Egg Bagel is a modern twist on the classic bagel sandwich, combining creamy Avocado with a warm egg for a rich and satisfying breakfast. Avocado became especially popular in cafés during the early 2000s as part of the global Avocado toast trend, inspiring many variations—including this simple and delicious bagel version.

Ingredients:

 salt   to taste
 lemon juice   1 tablespoon
 Black pepper   to taste
 bagel   1
 egg (fried or soft-boiled)   1
 ripe avocado   1
 chili flakes (optional)   to taste

1. Cut the bagel lengthwise.

2. Toast the bagel halves.

3. Mash the avocado with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

4. Spread avocado over the two bagel halvesl.

5. Place the cooked egg on bottom half.

6. Sprinkle chili flakes if desired and close the sandwich.

Optional toppings: tomato slices, microgreens, everything bagel seasoning.
